Finance Associate – Tax & Payroll

We are looking for a Finance Associate to join our team and assist with our day-to-day finance and accounting operations, particularly in tax compliance, payroll, and accounting/transaction management.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and has hands-on experience in tax compliance and BIR-related requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and filing of BIR tax returns and other tax compliance requirements
• Prepare tax schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documents
• Monitor tax deadlines and ensure timely submission of requirements
• Assist with payroll processing, including payroll reports, deductions, and statutory contributions
• Assist in recording and monitoring financial transactions
• Perform bank and account reconciliations
• Maintain accurate and organized accounting and financial records
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
• Support tax audits and other government compliance requirements
• Perform other finance and accounting duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or any related field
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in tax, accounting, or finance
• Hands-on experience in tax compliance is required
• Experience with BIR tax filing and Philippine tax regulations is highly preferred
• Payroll experience is an advantage
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Organized, dependable, and able to meet deadlines
• Good analytical and communication skills

What We’re Looking For

We are specifically looking for candidates who have actual experience handling tax-related tasks. Experience with BIR filings, withholding taxes, VAT, tax reconciliations, and other tax compliance requirements is a strong advantage.
