Finance Associate

About the role

We're looking for a Finance Associate to support the day-to-day financial operations of the company. This role will focus on accounts payable, transaction reconciliation, financial record keeping, and administrative support to ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Process and monitor accounts payable, vendor payments, and reimbursements
• Review invoices, billing statements, and supporting documents for accuracy and completeness
• Perform bank, cash, and transaction reconciliations on a regular basis
• Maintain accurate financial records, supporting schedules, and filing systems
• Assist in preparing payment runs and monitoring due dates of obligations
• Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, banks, and internal teams regarding payment-related concerns
• Support payroll processing, statutory payments, and compliance requirements as assigned
• Assist in preparing finance reports, cash flow summaries, and management schedules
• Help ensure compliance with company finance policies and internal controls
• Perform other finance and administrative tasks as may be assigned from time to time

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
• At least 1 year of experience in finance, accounting, bookkeeping, or administrative support
• Basic understanding of accounts payable, reconciliations, and financial documentation
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
• Good written and verbal communication skills
