Finance Associate (Project based)

About the role

Support Candid's finance operations through day-to-day administrative, documentation, coordination, and field-related tasks. The role requires someone organized, detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable handling finance-related errands and follow-ups.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with the collection, submission, and organization of invoices, receipts, and other financial documents.
• Assist in monitoring and following up on invoices, payments, collections, and other pending finance matters.
• Encode and maintain accurate records of financial transactions and documents.
• Organize and maintain physical and digital finance files and records.
• Assist in preparing basic reports, summaries, and documentation as needed.
• Help verify receipts, invoices, and other supporting documents for completeness and accuracy.
• Support the finance team with day-to-day administrative and operational tasks.
• Perform other finance-related errands and project-based tasks as assigned.

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and reliable.
• Comfortable doing fieldwork, errands, and follow-ups when needed.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
• Able to handle documents and information with confidentiality.
• Proactive and able to work independently.
• Willing to take on administrative and operational tasks as needed.
