X Consultancy Group is seeking a dedicated Finance Assistant to join our Finance team based in Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in supporting our financial operations and ensuring the accuracy of our financial records. As a Finance Assistant, you will be instrumental in maintaining the integrity of our financial data and supporting the smooth operation of our accounting functions. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your financial accounting and reporting expertise within a professional and dynamic environment.

What you'll be doing

• Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, including invoice verification and payment processing

• Reconciling bank statements and general ledger accounts to ensure financial accuracy

• Assisting with the preparation of financial documents and reports for internal and external stakeholders

• Maintaining accurate and organised financial records and documentation

• Performing general administrative duties to support the Finance team

What we're looking for

• A qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience)

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software packages

• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify and correct errors

• Solid understanding of fundamental accounting principles and practices

• Strong organisational and time management skills

• Professional communication skills and ability to work effectively with colleagues across departments
