Assistant Finance Manager

Job Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting and finance operations, including AP, AR, General Ledger, bank reconciliation, and month-end closing.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, and financial analysis.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, Malaysian tax, SST, and statutory requirements.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, and relevant authorities.
• Maintain and strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and financial procedures.
• Review accounting processes and recommend improvements for better efficiency and accuracy.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• Minimum 7 years of relevant accounting and finance experience.

• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, IFRS, Malaysian taxation, SST, and statutory compliance.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems; SAP experience is an advantage.
