Key Responsibilities

1. Lead the global reconciliation strategy

• Design and build a multi-party reconciliation architecture spanning on-chain and off-chain data.
• For card business, map and implement end-to-end data from User Authorization (Auth) → Clearing → Settlement, covering card networks (Visa/Mastercard), liquidity providers, internal ledgers, and external custodial accounts.
• Design exception handling mechanisms to improve automation rates and reduce manual intervention
• Increase automation coverage while reducing operational overhead and financial risk.

2. Build the accounting automation engine (finance-operations integration)

• Deeply understand the business logic across each line, including: card spend, P2P transfers, global remittances, and Earn products.
• Abstract complex front-end business and cash flows (multi-currency conversion, two-way fiat↔crypto exchange, tiered fees, etc.) into standardized financial booking rules.
• Build a rules engine for accounting automation and connect core business systems to the back-end ERP and general ledger

3. Cross-department alignment & project management

• Act as a bridge between business, engineering, and finance teams: translate finance principles into system language, and align system boundaries with finance stakeholders.
• Drive front-end business teams to standardize data collection requirements, ensuring source data is accurate and complete.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of product management / systems architecture experience in internet payments, fintech, or cross-border settlement & clearing.
• Demonstrated experience delivering large-scale finance-operations integration solutions or implementing core financial systems.
• Experience working at a global cross-border payments company/a large card network / card issuer/crypto payment/exhcange
• Strong mastery of traditional card network clearing & settlement logic (familiar with Visa/Mastercard clearing mechanisms and file formats, e.g., TC33).
• Solid financial foundation: deep understanding of accrual accounting, double-entry bookkeeping, and multi-currency FX gain/loss handling.
• Familiarity with blockchain fundamentals

Bonus / Preferred Qualifications

• CPA, ACCA, or other professional financial certifications.
• Technical background: understands SQL and Python, able to independently pull and analyze complex datasets.
