Your new role

As a Finance Business Partner, you will work closely with senior stakeholders to provide strategic financial advice, budgeting support and financial analysis. Depending on your level of experience, responsibilities may include:

• Budget development, monitoring and forecasting
• Financial reporting and performance analysis
• Preparation of business cases and financial costings
• Supporting capital, operational and project funding activities
• Providing strategic advice to leaders on financial and workforce planning
• Identifying risks, opportunities and continuous improvement initiatives
• Stakeholder engagement across operational and corporate business units
• Supporting financial governance, compliance and policy requirements

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful, you will possess:

• Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related discipline
• Demonstrated experience in finance business partnering, management accounting or commercial finance
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling capability
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience working within a large and complex organisation
• Previous government sector experience will be highly regarded but is not essential
• CPA or CA qualification, or working towards completion, will be advantageous
