Finance Business Partner

PHS Group is growing, and we need a commercially minded finance professional to help keep our numbers accurate, our processes efficient and our decisions well informed. You'll own day-to-day finance operations, produce reporting the business can act on, and help us modernise how we handle invoices and approvals.

This isn't a back-office role. You'll work closely with operational and commercial teams, ask the right questions and challenge spend or processes where something doesn't add up.

What you’ll be doing:

• Managing purchase and sales ledgers, reconciliations and payment runs
• Support month end, including journals, accruals and prepayments
• Produce management reports, including P&L, cash flow and KPIs
• Build and maintain reports and models in Excel
• Review costs and challenge spend where something doesn't add up
• Help improve finance processes, including invoice automation

What we're looking for

• AAT qualified, part-qualified ACCA/CIMA, or qualified by experience
• Experience in a hands-on finance role
• Strong Excel skills
• Commercially astute, with a good grasp of costs, margins and cash flow
• Confident challenging colleagues and suppliers
• Accurate and organised

Desirable but not essential: experience implementing or managing outsourced invoice automation.

Pay: £35,000.00 per year
