The Opportunity

We are recruiting an experienced Finance Business Partner to join a leading European hospitality group with an extensive portfolio of properties across the UK and Europe.

This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially focused finance professional with a strong background in multi-site hotels or hospitality, who enjoys working closely with operational teams, influencing business decisions and driving financial performance.

You will play a key role in supporting the financial and commercial performance of a portfolio of hospitality properties, working closely with hotel General Managers, operational leadership and senior finance stakeholders.

This is a highly visible, commercially focused position where you will provide meaningful financial insight, challenge performance, identify opportunities to improve profitability and support strategic decision-making across the business.

The successful candidate will combine strong financial analysis skills with the ability to build relationships, communicate effectively and translate financial information into actionable commercial recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted Finance Business Partner to hotel General Managers, regional operational teams and senior leadership across a multi-site hospitality portfolio.
• Provide financial insight, commercial analysis and recommendations to support operational performance and business decision-making.
• Lead the budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes for your designated portfolio of properties.
• Monitor and analyse property-level financial performance, identifying trends, risks and opportunities to improve profitability.
• Review monthly management accounts, providing meaningful commentary on variances against budget, forecast and prior-year performance.
• Work closely with operational teams to drive revenue growth, manage costs and improve overall financial performance.
• Analyse key hospitality performance indicators, including occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, payroll costs, operating expenses and GOP.
• Support General Managers with labour planning, cost control, departmental profitability and operational efficiencies.
• Prepare and present financial performance reports, forecasts and commercial recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to improve margins, optimise resources and strengthen financial controls across multiple properties.
• Support business cases, capital expenditure proposals, investment decisions and new property initiatives.
• Work collaboratively with central finance, commercial, revenue management and operational teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Support month-end reviews, ensuring financial results are accurate, appropriately challenged and clearly understood by operational stakeholders.
• Contribute to finance transformation projects, reporting improvements and the development of more efficient financial processes.

About You

We are looking for a commercially minded Finance Business Partner, Commercial Finance Manager or experienced Hotel Finance Manager who has previously supported multiple hotels or hospitality properties.

You will have a strong understanding of hospitality financial performance, excellent analytical skills and the confidence to engage with General Managers and senior operational stakeholders.

Essential Experience & Skills

• Proven experience as a Finance Business Partner, Commercial Finance Manager, Regional Finance Manager or Hotel Finance Manager.
• Previous multi-site hotel or hospitality experience is essential.
• Strong commercial finance background with experience supporting operational teams and influencing business performance.
• Demonstrable experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and variance analysis.
• Strong understanding of hotel financial performance, including occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, GOP, payroll and operating costs.
• Experience analysing property-level P&L performance and identifying opportunities to improve profitability.
• Confident working directly with General Managers, operational leaders and senior finance stakeholders.
• Ability to translate complex financial information into clear, practical commercial recommendations.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and financial modelling skills.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience using finance and reporting systems.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to challenge and influence stakeholders effectively.
• Highly organised, proactive and comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-site environment.
