Finance Clerk

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Finance Clerk to support the daily accounting and administrative activities of the Finance Department. This role is responsible for processing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, preparing supporting documentation, and assisting with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and general accounting activities.

This position is ideal for an entry-level accounting professional seeking hands-on experience in finance operations, bookkeeping, compliance, and financial administration within a growing logistics organization.

What You'll Be Doing

• Perform data entry of financial and accounting transactions into accounting systems.
• Assist in processing supplier invoices, payment requests, and employee claims.
• Support Accounts Receivable activities including invoicing and collection follow-ups.
• Prepare and maintain accounting records, files, and supporting documents.
• Assist with bank reconciliations and account matching activities.
• Verify the completeness and accuracy of financial documents before processing.
• Monitor and file official receipts, invoices, vouchers, and other financial records.
• Assist in preparing schedules and reports for month-end closing activities.
• Support tax filing and compliance documentation requirements.
• Coordinate with vendors, customers, and internal departments regarding finance-related documentation.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records and filing systems.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Provide administrative support to the Finance team as needed.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Finance Manager.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Accounting Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Up to 1-2 years of accounting, bookkeeping, or finance-related experience is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information.
• Willingness to learn and develop accounting and finance skills.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and accountability.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience using accounting systems is an advantage but not required.
