Accountant / Finance Executive

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Accountant / Finance Executive to handle the day-to-day financial and accounting matters of our Malaysia business.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle daily bookkeeping and accounting for the Malaysia outlet
• Record daily sales, expenses, purchases, payments and receipts
• Handle full set of accounts
• Prepare monthly accounts and financial reports
• Handle tax filing and tax-related matters
• Manage EPF (KWSP), SOCSO (PERKESO), EIS and other statutory matters for employees
• Assist with payroll and employee-related financial matters
• Prepare invoices, quotations, payment records and other financial documents
• Monitor daily financial transactions, cash flow and expenses
• Liaise with external accountants, tax agents, auditors and relevant authorities
• Maintain accurate and organized accounting records
• Provide financial reports and information to management
• Perform other accounting and finance duties as required

Requirements

• Must be able to speak and communicate in Chinese
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant accounting / finance experience
• Experience handling full set of accounts
• Familiar with Malaysian accounting, tax and statutory requirements
• Good knowledge of EPF, SOCSO, EIS and payroll
• Able to handle daily bookkeeping and monthly accounts independently
• Experience with tax filing and liaising with tax agents is preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Responsible, detail-oriented and able to work independently
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Experience in retail, entertainment or outlet operations is an advantage
