Finance Controller (Base in BKK)

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Controllership

• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing process.
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of management accounts and statutory financial statements.
• Review balance sheet reconciliations and maintain strong financial controls.
• Ensure compliance with Group accounting policies and local accounting standards.
• Support external and internal audits.

Manufacturing & Supply Chain Finance

• Partner closely with the Supply Chain Finance Manager to ensure accurate product costing and inventory valuation.
• Review manufacturing cost variances and recommend corrective actions.
• Monitor inventory movements, slow-moving inventory, and stock provisions.
• Oversee fixed asset capitalization for manufacturing projects.
• Ensure financial controls over production, warehouse, and procurement processes.

Tax & Regulatory Compliance

• Supervise the Thailand Tax Manager in managing:

  • Corporate Income Tax
  • VAT
  • Withholding Tax
  • Excise Tax
  • BOI compliance

• Coordinate tax audits and regulatory reviews.

• Ensure timely submission of all statutory and tax filings.

Treasury & Working Capital

• Review cash flow forecasts and working capital requirements.
• Coordinate local banking matters and payment controls.
• Monitor cash utilization for capital expenditure projects.
• Support financing activities when required.

Internal Controls & Governance

• Strengthen internal controls across finance and operational processes.
• Ensure compliance with Group policies and delegated authority limits.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and implement best practices.
• Drive continuous improvement in finance operations.

Team Leadership

• Lead and develop the Thailand finance team.
• Provide coaching and performance management to direct reports.
• Build a high-performing finance organization to support business growth.

Business Partnering

• Act as the finance partner to the Thailand General Manager and plant leadership.
• Support investment analysis, capital expenditure evaluation, and strategic initiatives.
• Provide financial insights to improve operational performance and profitability.
