Finance Controller

About the role

The Finance Controller supports the Chief Financial Officer in managing the company's financial activities, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance with regulations, and effective financial planning. This role involves overseeing accounting operations, assisting in budgeting and forecasting, and providing financial insights to support strategic decision-making.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and working capital to ensure financial stability.
• Assist with internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
• Maintain and review accounting records, ensuring accuracy and adherence to policies and standards.
• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide financial analysis and insights for decision-making.
• Support the Chief Financial Officer in financial strategy, risk management, and operational improvements.
• Supervise and mentor finance and accounting staff as required.

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
• Proven experience in accounting, finance, or auditing (ideally 5-7 years).
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, financial regulations, and corporate finance.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and integrity.
• Effective communication and leadership abilities.
