FINANCE CONTROLLER

About the role

The Finance Controller is responsible for overseeing and managing the overall financial and accounting functions of She Dazzle Empire Sdn. Bhd. The role ensures accurate financial reporting, effective financial controls, regulatory compliance, sound cash flow management, budgeting and financial planning. The Finance Controller is also responsible for providing timely financial analysis and strategic insights to Top Management to support informed business decisions, strengthen financial performance and ensure the Company's financial activities are aligned with its overall business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the Company's day-to-day accounting and finance operations.
• Ensure accurate and timely maintenance of the full set of accounts, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, bank reconciliation and journal entries.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of the Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow Statement.
• Lead the preparation of annual budgets, financial forecasts and financial plans in coordination with Department Leaders.
• Develop, implement and continuously improve effective financial controls, procedures and approval processes.
• Ensure compliance with applicable Malaysian financial, accounting, tax and statutory requirements.
• Lead, supervise and provide guidance to the Finance team in carrying out daily Finance operations.
• Provide financial advice and recommendations to the CEO, Director and Top Management.
• Support Management in evaluating financial implications relating to business plans, investments, operational decisions and strategic initiatives.

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in a senior Finance or Accounting position, preferably with hands-on experience managing full set accounts and financial reporting.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of full set accounts, month-end closing, financial statements, budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management.
• Strong understanding of Malaysian financial, accounting, tax and statutory requirements.
• Experience in audit coordination, financial compliance and internal control.
• Good knowledge and practical understanding of E-Invoice requirements and processes.
• Proficient in accounting software, Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good leadership and team-management capability.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality and accountability when handling sensitive financial and Company information.
