Finance Controller

You will take ownership and responsibility of our controlling operations reporting to CFO and working closely with business analyst, accounting team as well as other company‘s departments to ensure strong financial and business controlling routines, driving financial accuracy, performance monitoring and business support.

Responsibility includes:

• Leading controlling activities - accountable for company’s financial controlling process: budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, project and cost accounting, monthly reporting, cash flow management, financial/credit risk management, etc.
• Owning budgeting, controlling and monitoring - coordinate budget and forecasts preparation as well as regular in-depth analysis, track financial performance to ensure alignment with company’s goals. Address discrepancies proposing corrective actions as needed;
• Ensuring proper financial analysis and insights - analyze financial and company’s KPIs performance, provide insights and recommendations to support decision-making, including variuos ad-hoc analysis;
• Responsible for month-end & year-end closing and reporting - actively participate in month-end closing, collaborate with Accounting team to ensure accurate, timely financial reporting;
• Acting as a Finance Business Partner - closely collaborate with other departments providing guidance and support in finance controlling & analysis related topics to business;
• Development and implementation of finance policies, procedures, controls and best practices to enhance efficiency and compliance;
• Contribution to continuous improvement and digitalization by participating in projects and other initiatives.

Experience & skillset:

• 5+ years experience in finance controlling, analysis and/or similar function (production, manufacturing, engineering environment – a strong plus);
• Education in accounting, finance, economics or related field;
• Strong knowledge of FP&A, financial controlling and reporting processes, good understanding of financial and managerial accounting principles, well familiar with financial data management and standard financial reporting (ability prepare BS, PnL, CF reports);
• Experience in cost and project accounting (a strong plus) or capability to research, understand, apply related principles and rules where & when needed;
• Problem solving attitude and critical thinking;
• Ability to manage deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment;
• Good organizational and interpersonal skills;
• Sense of ownership, team player mindset with focus on result.

Salary From 3500 to 4800 €/month gross

Salary depends on your competencies and is negotiable.
