Finance Controller

Core Responsibilities

• Accounting Operations: Manage day-to-day functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger maintenance, and cost accounting.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare and publish accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports).
• Compliance & Audits: Ensure compliance with statutory laws, tax filings, and accounting standards (such as GAAP or IFRS) while serving as the primary point of contact for external auditors.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Coordinate budget preparation, track spending variances, and assist department heads with financial planning.
• Internal Controls: Design, implement, and evaluate risk management policies and internal controls to prevent fraud and safeguard company assets.
• Team Management: Hire, train, and supervise accounting staff and finance direct reports.

Key Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business administration (a Master’s degree or MBA is often preferred).
• Certifications: Professional credentials such as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), or Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
• Experience: 5+ years of progressive accounting or financial management experience, often transitioning from senior accountant or finance manager roles.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Tally, QuickBooks, ERP systems (like SAP or Oracle), advanced Microsoft Excel, and modern financial reporting or Ai automation tools like ChatGPT Claude.

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
