Position Finance Coordinator

Reports to Project Manager and Finance Coordinator (Dhaka)

Supervises Finance & Admin Officer (functional)

Level of effort 100% allocated to the project

Duration 15 October 2026 – 14 April 2027 Position Summary The Finance Coordinator manages and oversees project-related financial operations from the Ukhiya, Cox’s Bazar Office, ensuring compliance with organizational policies, procedures and donor requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Support project budgeting, accounting, expenditure and cash-flow monitoring and review budget utilisation against approved plans.
• Prepare and review financial analysis, project financial reports and donor financial reports, including supporting schedules and variance analysis.
• Review accounts, vouchers, reconciliations and supporting documents and follow up on identified gaps or corrections.
• Ensure compliance with GUSS financial policies, approved budgets and donor requirements, including applicable financial controls.
• Coordinate with programme and finance teams and provide timely financial information to support project management, forecasting and decision-making.

Requirements

• Experience: 7+ years
• Education: master of business administration in finance
• Skills: project coordination, budgeting and financial management, project finance, project support
