Finance Costing Executive/Analyst

Job Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and maintain product costing and standard costing for new and existing products.

2. Analyse manufacturing costs, including materials, labour, overhead and other production expenses.

3. Perform actual vs. standard cost and variance analysis, and investigate significant cost differences.

4. Monitor material consumption, production yield, wastage and scrap costs.

5. Assist in inventory valuation, WIP and finished goods costing, and inventory reconciliation.

6. Support monthly closing by preparing costing reports, schedules and related financial analysis.

7. Assist in budgeting, forecasting and monitoring of manufacturing costs.

8. Prepare management reports on product costs, profitability and cost trends.

9. Work closely with Production, Purchasing, Warehouse, Engineering and other departments to ensure accurate costing information.

10. Identify cost-saving opportunities and support initiatives to improve manufacturing cost efficiency.

11. Maintain accurate costing data in the ERP/accounting system and ensure proper documentation.

12. Assist with internal and external audits and perform other finance-related duties as assigned.

Requirement:

* Diploma/Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.

* 2–5 years of relevant experience in costing, management accounting or manufacturing finance.

* Experience in manufacturing costing is an advantage.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with good attention to detail.

* Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP/accounting systems is an advantage.

* Good communication and interpersonal skills.

* Able to work independently and collaborate effectively with different departments.
