Finance Curricular Intern - Accounting

Your Responsibilities

• Support the registration and reconciliation of accounting transactions.
• Process accounting and financial documentation in accordance with established procedures.
• Assist with invoice posting and bank-related accounting entries.
• Support the preparation and submission of statistical and regulatory reports, including reporting for national entities (INE, Banco de Portugal).
• Support month-end closing activities, including accruals, deferrals, depreciation postings and internal reporting activities, according to business needs and the candidate's development plan.
• Ensure accurate record keeping and proper documentation of accounting information.
• Collaborate with different stakeholders within the Finance department.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within Accounting processes.

Your qualification

• Bachelor's or Master's degree student in Accounting, Finance, Management.

Your competencies

• Basic English skills.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Analytical mindset, proactive aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Sense of responsibility and ownership.
• Commitment to quality, compliance, and continuous improvement.
• Availability for a curricular internship with a minimum duration of 6 months.
