Are you an experienced finance leader who can bring people, processes and priorities together and turn a strong technical foundation into a scalable, business-oriented Finance function?

At engira, we are entering the next phase of our Finance transformation. We have built strong technical expertise across Accounting, Controlling and Reporting. Now, we are looking for a Finance Director who can lead the organization forward, create alignment and strengthen Finance as a proactive and value-creating business partner.

As Finance Director, you will lead the teams within Accounting, Controlling and Reporting. You will drive organizational development, process optimization, operating model improvements and change management across Finance. As a key member of the CFO leadership team, you will also act as a trusted sparring partner to the CFO and help shape the future Finance function.

The role – in a nutshell

Your overall responsibility is to build a scalable, efficient and business-oriented Finance organization that can support continued growth, increasing complexity and higher expectations from the business.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead and develop senior finance leaders across Accounting, Controlling and Reporting
• Create alignment, accountability and collaboration across Finance, with clear priorities, objectives and responsibilities
• Build a high-performance culture based on ownership, transparency and continuous improvement
• Drive the Finance transformation agenda, including the future operating model, governance structures and performance frameworks
• Lead organizational and process-related change initiatives and create momentum during periods of change
• Establish scalable end-to-end finance processes and drive optimization and automation.
• Strengthening governance, controls, process ownership and decision-making, supported by relevant KPIs
• Strengthen Finance's role as a proactive business partner and translate business needs into clear Finance priorities
• Act as a trusted advisor to the CFO on operational and strategic topics
• Take a hands-on approach when key projects, complex issues or critical initiatives require direct support

About you

We are looking for a proven finance leader who can bring people, processes and priorities together. You combine strong leadership capabilities with operational credibility, thrive in change and know how to turn strategy into execution.

• Significant leadership experience within Finance
• Experience leading leaders and larger finance organizations
• Proven success in driving finance or organizational transformations
• Strong change management and stakeholder management capabilities
• Experience with process optimization, operational excellence and finance operating model development
• The ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution
• Experience working closely with executive leadership teams
• A visible and engaging leadership style that creates followership, celebrates success and keeps people moving in the same direction
• The ability to create structure and clear priorities in complex environments
• Fluent English communication skills and the confidence to collaborate across functions, markets and disciplines
