Finance Director

Role Overview

The Director of Finance is responsible for both strategic financial management and day-to-day financial operations. The role ensures financial stability, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence while supporting organizational growth and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement financial strategies, budgets, and forecasts
• Provide strategic financial guidance to senior management
• Oversee financial reporting and ensure compliance with accounting standards
• Manage financial planning, analysis, and performance indicators
• Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and working capital
• Oversee daily finance operations (AP, AR, payroll, general ledger)
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations
• Implement internal controls to safeguard assets
• Lead external audits and coordinate with auditors
• Stay updated on financial trends and regulations
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (Required)
• MBA or advanced degree (Preferred)
• Certified Public Accountant (Required)
• Proven experience in strategic financial management and financial operations, preferably in a senior leadership role
