Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and strategic Finance Director to lead our financial operations and drive sustainable growth across our organization. This pivotal role involves overseeing all aspects of financial management, including accounting, reporting, risk analysis, and strategic planning. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in industry-standard financial regulations such as IAS (International Accounting Standards), IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), and GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles). As a key leader, you will shape financial strategies, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and foster a culture of fiscal responsibility and innovation. Duties

• Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive financial strategies aligned with organizational goals.
• Oversee corporate accounting functions, including general ledger management, balance sheet reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable, and cost control measures.
• Prepare, analyze, and interpret complex financial statements and reports to inform executive decision-making.
• Manage treasury functions such as cash flow analysis, investment management, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with industry-specific financial regulations, including ASC 606 revenue recognition standards and governmental accounting requirements.
• Develop detailed financial projection models to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning initiatives.
• Supervise the finance team’s activities in financial analysis, data analytics tools utilization, and financial report writing to enhance operational efficiency.
• Oversee regulatory reporting processes to maintain transparency and adherence to industry standards.
• Conduct risk analysis assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and implement appropriate risk management strategies.
• Collaborate with business development teams to evaluate investment opportunities and support growth initiatives through sound financial advice.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in finance leadership roles with extensive knowledge of IAS, IFRS, GAAP, and industry-specific financial regulations.
• Strong background in corporate accounting, governmental accounting, non-profit accounting, and public accounting environments.
• Expertise in financial analysis, cost accounting, budget development, forecasting, and financial modeling using Excel data analysis tools.
• Demonstrated ability in strategic planning, fiscal management, risk analysis, and regulatory compliance management.
• Proficiency with advanced accounting systems and financial software platforms; technical proficiency is essential.
• Excellent leadership skills with experience managing diverse finance teams; ability to foster collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Deep understanding of industry trends in financial markets, investment management, revenue recognition standards ASC 606, and cost management practices.
• Strong communication skills for effective financial report writing and interpretation for stakeholders at all levels.
• A bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting is required; advanced certifications such as CPA or CFA are highly desirable.

Pay: $255,000.00 - $311,000.00 per year
