Finance Director

Manufacturing Industry | Senior Regional Leadership Role

We are looking for an experienced Regional Finance Director to lead the finance function across our Asia operations. This senior leadership role will partner closely with regional and global management to strengthen financial performance, support sustainable growth, and ensure effective governance across a complex, multi-site manufacturing environment.

The Role

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and performance management across the Asia region.
• Act as a strategic business partner to regional leadership, providing commercial insight and recommendations to support business decisions.
• Drive profitability, cash flow, working capital, cost control, and operational efficiency across manufacturing sites.
• Monitor plant performance, including product costing, margins, inventory, capital expenditure, and productivity.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in line with group policies, accounting standards, tax requirements, and local regulations.
• Strengthen internal controls, risk management, compliance, and audit readiness across all regional entities.
• Lead financial evaluation of investments, business cases, expansion plans, and improvement projects.
• Partner with operations, supply chain, sales, HR, and other functions to improve business performance.
• Develop, coach, and lead high-performing finance teams across multiple countries and cultures.
• Support regional transformation, systems implementation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

About You

• Qualified accountant or equivalent professional finance qualification.
• Significant senior finance leadership experience within manufacturing, industrial, or related sectors.
• Strong understanding of plant finance, standard costing, inventory, capital investment, and operational performance.
• Proven experience supporting multiple countries or business units across Asia.
• Commercially minded and able to translate financial data into clear business actions.
• Strong knowledge of financial controls, compliance, tax, and statutory reporting in an international environment.
• Confident communicator with the ability to influence senior stakeholders across functions and cultures.
• Experienced people leader with a track record of building capable, collaborative regional teams.
• Fluent English is required; additional Asian language capability would be advantageous.
• Willingness to travel across the region as required.
