What they need

An established, growing financial services group seeks an experienced Finance Director to join its senior leadership team and play a pivotal role in supporting the Group's continued growth and development.

With an ambitious growth strategy that includes organic expansion and acquisitions, the organisation seeks a commercially minded finance leader to strengthen financial performance, enhance reporting capabilities, and build a scalable finance function to meet evolving needs.

Reporting directly to the CFO, the successful candidate will work closely with senior stakeholders across the business, contributing to strategic decision-making, financial planning, group consolidation and acquisition integration.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious finance professional to take on a high-impact leadership role within a dynamic, expanding organisation.

You will:

  • Lead and develop the finance function, building a high-performing and commercially focused team.
  • Oversee financial reporting, management accounts and Board-level reporting.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes.
  • Manage group financial consolidation and reporting across multiple entities.
  • Support mergers and acquisitions, including financial due diligence support and post-acquisition integration.
  • Maintain robust financial controls, governance frameworks and regulatory compliance.
  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, automation and the use of AI-enabled finance solutions.
  • Partner with the CFO and wider leadership team to inform strategic and commercial decision-making.
  • Drive continuous improvement across finance systems, processes and performance reporting.
  • Support the development of a scalable finance function aligned with the Group's long-term growth strategy.

Experience:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent).
  • At least 7 years' post-qualification experience.
  • Proven experience in a senior finance leadership or management role.
  • Strong technical expertise across financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
  • Experience working within a group structure or multi-entity environment.
