Finance Director

The Finance Director provides strategic financial leadership across all business units, overseeing financial planning and analysis, treasury, capital allocation, funding, cash flow, and working capital management. The role partners with the CEO, Executive Committee, and business leaders to drive financial performance, evaluate investments and growth opportunities, manage financial risks, and ensure sound financial governance and regulatory compliance. It also leads Finance function heads in strengthening financial controls, optimizing processes, and driving digital transformation to support business growth, operational efficiency, and long-term financial sustainability.

1. Financial Strategy, Capital Planning, and Investment Management

• Define and drive the overall financial strategy across all business units

• Lead enterprise financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes

• Oversee capital allocation and ensure optimal use of financial resources

• Evaluate investments, business expansion initiatives, and project financing opportunities

• Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to the CEO and ExeCom to support decision-making

1. Funding, Liquidity, and Working Capital Management

• Define and oversee the organization’s funding strategy, including financing facilities, debt management, and capital structure

• Manage and strengthen relationships with banks, lenders, and financial institutions

• Ensure effective liquidity management to support operational and strategic requirements

• Drive working capital optimization strategies to improve cash conversion, operational efficiency, and financial sustainability

• Oversee cash flow strategy and ensure availability of funds aligned with business priorities

• Monitor funding exposure, financial risks, and overall capital sustainability across business units

3. Financial Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance Oversight

• Establish and enforce enterprise-wide financial governance frameworks, policies, and standards

• Oversee financial risk management strategies, including identification, assessment, and mitigation of key risks

• Ensure compliance with regulatory, statutory, and financial reporting requirements across all business units

• Provide oversight on internal controls, audit processes, and compliance programs through the Financial Controller

• Ensure integrity, transparency, and accountability in financial reporting and governance practices

4. Executive Leadership, Board Reporting, and Business Partnership

• Act as strategic financial partner to the CEO, Executive Committee, and business unit leaders

• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support key business decisions, growth, and expansion initiatives

• Lead preparation and presentation of financial performance, forecasts, and strategic reports to executive leadership and Board

• Support organizational strategy through financial evaluation of business initiatives, projects, and investments

• Drive financial discipline, accountability, and alignment across all business units

5. Finance Leadership and Transformation

• Provide strategic leadership and direction to Finance function heads ( FP&A, & Treasury)

• Ensure alignment of Finance operations with overall business strategy and financial objectives

• Drive financial transformation initiatives, including systems improvement, process optimization, and automation

• Oversee development and enhancement of financial systems, reporting tools, and ERP platforms

• Promote a culture of accountability, performance, and continuous improvement across the Finance organization

• Drive performance accountability across Finance functions through leadership of function heads and alignment with business objectives

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (CPA or equivalent preferred)

• At least 10–12 years of progressive experience in senior finance leadership roles

• Proven experience in multi-entity or group-level finance management

• Strong background in banking relationships, funding negotiations, and capital management

• Experience in strategic planning, financial governance, and risk management

• Exposure to Board-level reporting and executive decision-making environments

• Experience in financial systems, ERP implementation, or transformation initiatives
