Finance Director - SME

Reporting to senior management, you are responsible for financial control, banking relationships, treasury management, tax compliance, financial reporting, and supporting strategic business decisions.

Description

• Lead group accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and consolidation activities.
• Manage relationships with banking partners and oversee credit facilities, financing arrangements, and cash management.
• Monitor working capital, cash flow, and treasury activities to support business growth and operational needs.
• Oversee corporate tax compliance, statutory reporting, and regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
• Ensure strong internal controls, financial governance, and compliance with relevant accounting standards.
• Support audits and coordinate with external advisors, auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies.
• Act as the finance lead for financial systems and process improvements, ensuring data accuracy and reporting integrity.
• Prepare management reports, board presentations, and financial analyses to support executive decision-making.
• Partner closely with business leaders to drive operational efficiency and financial performance.

Profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline with a professional accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA, HKICPA, or equivalent).
• Minimum 15-20 years of progressive finance and accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, treasury, banking, tax, and financial controls.
• Experience working in regional or multinational business environments is preferred.
• Hands-on, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
