Finance Executive

About the role

Radtelcom Technologies Corporation is seeking a Finance Executive to join our growing finance team in Davao City. This is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in managing the financial operations and bookkeeping functions of our organisation. As Finance Executive, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting financial planning and analysis, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. This role is fundamental to the financial health and strategic decision-making of the company.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger entries
• Prepare and reconcile bank statements, credit card statements and other financial documents on a monthly basis
• Process invoices, expenses and payroll in accordance with company policies and accounting standards
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports and analysis for management review
• Monitor cash flow and assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations and company policies
• Liaise with external auditors and provide necessary documentation for audit purposes
• Support the senior finance team with ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as required
• Maintain confidentiality of financial information and follow proper data security protocols

What we're looking for

• Formal qualification in accounting, bookkeeping or finance such as an Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) certification, Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification, or equivalent professional qualification
• Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a bookkeeping or small practice accounting role
• Strong proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting
• Solid understanding of bookkeeping principles, generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and financial reporting standards
• Excellent attention to detail with strong ability to identify and rectify discrepancies
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with internal teams
• Knowledge of payroll processing and tax compliance requirements is advantageous
• Integrity, honesty and commitment to maintaining financial accuracy and confidentiality
