Finance Executive

Key responsibilities

• Manage and assist CFO to handle full set of accounts for MOC and its sisters' companies including preparation of finance documents
• Preparation of accounts, including month-end and year-end closing for all companies
• Assist CFO in preparing financial performance reports for management review
• Assist CFO in streaming accounting processes, including work flow/SOP
• Process accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliation transactions for all companies
• Assist CFO in annual budgeting, business planning and forecasting
• Review and be responsible for the timely submission of group's monthly/quarterly/annual management reports to head office
• Liaise with various stakeholders on operational accounting issues, including attending queries from relevant stakeholders
• Process and ensure the accurate and timely processing of monthly payroll and salary disbursements in compliance with company policies and statutory requirements
• Oversee all corporate and employee taxation matters, including corporate income tax, Goods and Services Tax (GST), employee tax reporting (IR8A), tax clearance (IR21), and other statutory tax filings

About you

• Diploma or Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field
• Entry-level candidates are welcome to apply. Candidates with 2 years or more of relevant working experience will have an added advantage
• Meticuluous, analytical, and good with numbers
• Those with XBRL process and submission knowledge will have an added advantage.
• Good organisational and multitasking skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Able to work independently and meet tight deadlines
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
• Self-motivated, able to work independently, and capable of handling confidential financial information with integrity
