Job Description:

• Manage & lead the accounting & finance team to ensure the efficiencies of day-to-day operation of overall accounting & financial activities, i.e. General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets and Inventory Function.
• Responsible for the overall accounting function that includes preparation of financial statements, budgeting, cash flow and management accounts.
• Ensure budgetary controls, forecast & projections and monthly management accounts are prepared and reviewed on timely basis. Candidate is expected to be able to interpret the financial statements.
• Involve in accounting system enhancement, process improvement and ensure good internal controls are in place while high productivities are achieved.
• Ensure all operational related reporting, monthly financial and management accounts are prepared in a timely manner and in compliance with statutory requirements and relevant Financial Reporting Standards (FRS).
• Providing coaching and mentoring for subordinates.
• Attend to any ad-hoc tasks / analysis requested by the management from time to time.

Job Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent

• Strong interpersonal, organisational, time management and communication skills

• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite

• Self-motived, proactive and able to work under pressure
