Finance Executive

• Prepare and maintain standard product costing, including material, labour, and overhead components.
• Analyse cost variances (material, labour, overhead) and provide justifications.
• Perform monthly inventory reconciliation between system and physical records.
• Assist in stock valuation, slow-moving, and obsolete inventory analysis.
• Support stock count exercises, investigate discrepancies, and reconcile inventory balances.
• Assist in reviewing the allocation of manufacturing overheads.
• Prepare costing-related journal entries during month-end closing.
• Assist in audit schedules and provide supporting documentation related to costing and inventory.
• Support enhancement of costing processes and internal controls.
• Assist and handle any ad-hoc tasks assigned by superior.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. (Professional qualifications such as ACCA or equivalent is an added advantage).
• Minimum 1 - 2 years of working experience, preferably in manufacturing finance / inventory accounting.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including basic formulas, tables, and data handling.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; detail-oriented, accurate, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
