Finance Executive

We are looking for a Finance Executive to join our finance team. The successful candidate will support day-to-day accounting and finance operations, including accounts payable, bank reconciliation, payment processing, financial reporting, and other finance-related duties. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organised, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage the full Accounts Payable, from invoice receipt and verification to payment processing.
• Receive, review, and process supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
• Monitor and follow up on outstanding invoices, credit notes, and supplier queries.
• Reconcile supplier SOA, prepare payment vouchers and ensure payments are made accurately and within the agreed credit terms.
• Prepare accruals journals, fixed asset registry and perform bank reconciliation.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records and documentation.
• Prepare financial reports, schedules, and management reports as required.
• Support yearly audit, tax reporting and other statutory requirements
• Ensure compliance with internal financial policies, accounting standards, and procedures.
• Perform other finance and accounting duties or ad-hoc projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting/finance experience.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes.
• Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail with good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good organisational and time-management skills.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Responsible, proactive and willing to learn.
• Experience in the F&B, retail or multi-outlet environment will be an advantage.
