What they need

About Saxon Renewables

Saxon Renewables helps organisations accelerate their sustainability journey through practical, science-based solutions. We work with corporates across Asia to reduce their carbon footprint and achieve renewable energy targets through onsite and offsite Renewable Energy Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs), carbon credits, and broader decarbonisation strategies.

As demand for renewable energy and climate solutions continues to accelerate, we are looking for a Finance Executive to support our finance operations and strengthen our internal finance processes.

Your Mission

As Finance Executive, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day finance and accounting operations of Saxon Renewables, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank reconciliation, payment processing, documentation, and month-end closing support.

You will work closely with the Finance Manager and internal teams to ensure that financial transactions are properly recorded, supporting documents are well maintained, and finance processes are carried out accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Receivable

  • Prepare and issue customer invoices accurately and on a timely basis.
  • Monitor customer payments and follow up on outstanding receivables.
  • Maintain customer statements and ageing reports.
  • Coordinate with sales and operations teams on billing details, supporting documents, and delivery records.
  • Match collections against invoices and update payment records accordingly.

Accounts Payable

  • Process supplier invoices, staff claims, registry costs, vendor payments, and other operating expenses.
  • Ensure proper supporting documents and approvals are obtained before payment processing.
  • Prepare payment schedules and support payment preparation.
  • Maintain supplier records and reconcile supplier statements where required.
  • Support internal payment control and documentation processes.

Bank Reconciliation & Accounting Support

  • Perform bank reconciliation and ensure transactions are accurately recorded.
  • Assist in month-end closing and preparation of accounting schedules.
  • Maintain proper filing of invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, bank records, contracts, and supporting documents.
  • Support audit, tax, GST/SST, and corporate secretarial documentation where required.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate accounting records for Singapore and Malaysia entities.

What We Are Looking For

-          Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.

-          Minimum 1–3 years of relevant finance or accounting experience.

-          Experience in accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank reconciliation, invoice processing, and basic accounting support.

-          Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting requirements.

-          Knowledge of Malaysia and Singapore accounting practices, tax requirements, and statutory compliance matters.

-          Familiarity with Malaysia tax matters, including SST, withholding tax, and basic corporate tax concepts.

-          Familiarity with Singapore tax matters, including GST, withholding tax, and basic corporate tax concepts will be an added advantage.

-          Experience supporting audit, tax compliance, and statutory reporting processes for Malaysia and Singapore entities will be an advantage.

-          Familiarity with accounting systems and Microsoft Excel; experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is an advantage.

-          Experience in multi-entity or regional business operations will be an advantage.

-          Good attention to detail, strong sense of responsibility, and ability to maintain proper documentation.

-          Able to work independently, prioritise tasks, and coordinate effectively with internal teams, customers, and vendors.

Who This Role Is For

This role is suitable for someone who is hands-on, responsible, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing day-to-day finance operations.

You should enjoy keeping records accurate, following up on outstanding matters, supporting month-end processes, and helping the finance team build a stronger operating structure.
