Finance Executive

Responsibilities:

1. Maintain and update Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and accounting records accurately and in a timely manner.
2. Record daily financial transactions into the accounting system accurately and promptly.
3. Handle sales invoice processing and assist in preparing customer statements in collaboration with the Sales Administration team.
4. Perform daily bank reconciliations and follow up on discrepancies to ensure the accuracy of financial records.
5. Perform cost allocation and ensure transactions are properly classified to the relevant cost centres.
6. Prepare audit schedules and supporting documents for internal and external audit purposes.
7. Assist the Finance Manager in accounting, reporting, analysis, and other finance-related matters as required.
8. Perform other ad-hoc accounting and administrative duties assigned by Management.

Requirements:

1. Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or an equivalent qualification.
2. Minimum 1–2 years of working experience in Finance or Accounting is preferred. Fresh graduates with relevant qualifications are encouraged to apply.
3. Good understanding of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial reporting.
4. Experience in handling Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), General Ledger (GL), bank reconciliation, and partial sets of accounts will be an added advantage.
5. Familiarity with ERP or accounting software is preferred.
6. Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel.
7. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
8. Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with internal teams.
9. Able to work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
