Finance Executive

What you’ll do

• Daily financial data entry: Perform accurate and timely entry of all financial transactions into the accounting system.
• Invoice Management: Handle the issuance of invoices, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in financial transactions.
• Track daily financial transactions, ensure the actual bank balance ties to the system, and perform month-end stock and account closings.
• e-invoice submission to ensure compliance on timely basis.
• Supervise petty cash and staff expense claims to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and government regulations.
• Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on overdue payments when necessary.
• Prepare supporting schedules and documentation for audits and respond to audit queries in a timely manner.
• Liaise with internal departments and external parties such as auditors, banks, vendors, and tax agents.
• Support ad-hoc finance tasks and system-related projects.

What you’ll need to get successful

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in an accounts or bookkeeping role, preferably within the Accounting and Bookkeeping & Small Practice Accounting industries.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and relevant software (e.g., Odoo, QuickBooks).
• Possess at least Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with high accuracy.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively.
• Proactive problem-solving skills and a flexible, adaptable mindset.
