Finance Executive

About the role

This role involves managing a full set of accounts, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL), with responsibility for preparing accurate financial reports and ensuring compliance with Malaysian statutory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL)
• Prepare monthly management reports and financial statements accurately and on time
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow monitoring
• Manage and prepare statutory submissions, including SST, LHDN, SOCSO, EIS, and other relevant requirements
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
• Support year-end audits and liaise with auditors when required
• Maintain proper accounting records, supporting documents, and financial files
• Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and relevant Malaysian statutory requirements
• Perform other finance and accounting-related duties assigned by management

About you

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum 2–4 years of relevant accounting/finance experience
• Experience handling full-set accounts is preferred
• Proficient in AutoCount or similar accounting software
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Good understanding of Malaysian statutory and regulatory requirements, including SST and LHDN
• Detail-oriented, responsible, organized, and able to work independently
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work effectively as part of a team
