Finance Executive

About the role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Finance Executive to support our retail business operations.

Key responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts for retail business operations
• Responsible for monthly closing activities and preparation of accounting schedules
• Perform bank reconciliation, sales collection reconciliation, and receipt matching
• Monitor Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), intercompany transactions, and payment records
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, and company secretary
• Assist in e-Invoice related matters and compliance
• Work closely with retail operations and warehouse team to ensure accurate accounting records and smooth daily operations
• Assist in ad-hoc finance and accounting duties when required

About you

• Experience in retail, FMCG, or trading industry will be an advantage
• Experience handling multiple outlets / branches is preferred
• Strong reconciliation skills and good problem-solving ability
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot table, etc.)
• Familiar with monthly closing process
• Able to work independently while being a good team player
• Experience in retail receipt reconciliation will be an added advantage
