Finance Executive

About the role

The Finance Executive will support outsourced accounting and consultancy services, with a focus on money lending and factoring-related operations. The role covers managing financing transactions, maintaining records of loans, repayments, interest and receivables, monitoring outstanding/overdue accounts, performing reconciliations, and preparing financial documentation and reports. The candidate will also liaise with clients and coordinate with internal accounting, tax, audit and consultancy teams.

Key responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day transactions related to money lending, financing and factoring.
• Maintain accurate records of loans, repayments, interest and receivables.
• Monitor outstanding balances, repayment schedules and overdue accounts.
• Perform reconciliations and maintain accurate financial and transaction records.
• Prepare supporting schedules, reports and documentation for client accounts.
• Review invoices, agreements and relevant documents to ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Liaise with clients regarding accounting, financing and transaction-related matters.
• Follow up on outstanding information, documents and payment-related issues.
• Coordinate with internal accounting, tax, audit and consultancy teams when required.

Requirements

• Relevant experience in accounting, finance, loan administration, credit administration, factoring or financial services; experience in outsourced accounting is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of accounting, financing transactions and reconciliations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel with good numerical and analytical skills.
• Strong attention to detail, organised and able to manage multiple tasks or client accounts.
• Good communication and client-handling skills.
• SPM/UEC, Diploma or Degree holders are welcome, provided you have the relevant skills and ability to perform the role.
