Finance Executive

Position Overview

The Finance Executive will support the financial operations of the real estate development business, ensuring accurate accounting, timely reporting, and effective financial controls. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and hands‑on experience in real estate project accounting, cash flow management, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders, escrow management.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day accounting activities including AP/AR, bank reconciliations, journal entries, and general ledger updates.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor project‑wise budgets, costs, and cash flows; highlight variances and recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate with project teams to track expenses, contractor payments, retention amounts, and milestone‑based disbursements.
• Handle VAT calculations, filings, and compliance for real estate transactions.
• Support external audits by preparing schedules, documentation, and responding to auditor queries.
• Maintain accurate records of escrow accounts, project collections, and customer payments.
• Prepare MIS reports for management, including project performance, cash flow forecasts, and financial dashboards.
• Liaise with banks for facilities, guarantees, loan documentation, and related financial matters.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls, financial policies, and statutory requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; professional certification (CA/CPA/CMA) is an advantage.
• 3–5 years of experience in finance/accounting, preferably within a real estate developer or construction company.
• Strong knowledge of project accounting, cost control, and real estate financial processes.
• Proficiency in MS Excel skills.
• Solid understanding of UAE VAT regulations and compliance.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
