Finance Executive

About the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Executive to manage full sets of accounts and support day-to-day accounting operations. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, timely compliance, and smooth coordination with external stakeholders such as auditors, tax agents, and company secretaries.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full set of accounts and handle day-to-day accounting activities.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports in a timely and accurate manner.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and Company Secretary (CoSec) on accounting, audit, tax, and statutory compliance matters.
• Ensure accounting records and processes comply with relevant financial reporting standards and statutory requirements.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Assist in ad-hoc finance-related duties and projects as required.

About you

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Proficient in using the SQL Accounting System.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and statutory compliance.
• Independent, detail-oriented, and able to work under tight deadlines.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Mandarin-speaking candidates are preferred (to liaise with Mandarin-speaking clients/stakeholders).
