Finance Executive

Job Summary

We are looking for a Finance Executive to support day-to-day accounting and finance operations, including LIMS invoicing, SAP accounting, vendor payments, banking activities, cash reporting and month-end support.

Responsibilities

• Raise sales invoices in LIMS based on Sales team requests after performing basic checks and validations; update customer payments in LIMS and coordinate with the LIMS/Sales teams to resolve discrepancies.
• Upload/post sales invoices from LIMS into SAP and record journal entries, bank payment and receipt entries, ensuring accurate and timely accounting.
• Review and account for vendor invoices in SAP, prepare payment files with payment summaries and bank details, and coordinate with vendors and internal teams on payment-related queries.
• Maintain the daily sales register, cash books and SAP records, and prepare weekly cash balance reports in the prescribed format.
• Support month-end closing, reconciliations, audits and stakeholder queries, along with other ad-hoc finance requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• B.Com or equivalent qualification with 34 years of relevant accounting/finance experience.
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel and ability to work with financial data and reports.
• Hands-on SAP experience will be preferred.
• Good understanding of basic accounting, journal entries, vendor accounting and banking transactions.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage timelines and coordinate effectively with multiple stakeholders.
