Finance Executive

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Finance Executive to join our Finance Team!

In this role, you will be responsible for managing the full set of accounts for EasyParcel Singapore, including accounts payable, courier invoice verification, payment processing, monthly closing, GST preparation and financial reconciliations.

You will also work closely with our Finance Team in Malaysia to ensure accurate financial records, timely payments and smooth day-to-day accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Accounts Payable & Invoice Verification

• Verify and process supplier and courier invoices, credit notes and supporting documents.
• Ensure courier billing accuracy by checking shipment details, weight, pricing and agreed rate cards.
• Record approved invoices and transactions accurately in the accounting system.
• Monitor outstanding payments, supplier statements and accounts payable ageing.
• Identify and resolve billing discrepancies with relevant departments.

2. Payment Processing

• Prepare weekly supplier and courier payment schedules for approval.
• Ensure payments are processed accurately and within the required deadlines.
• Reconcile payments against invoices and credit notes.
• Identify duplicate payments, short payments or discrepancies.

3. Full Set of Accounts & Month-End Closing

• Handle full set of accounts for EasyParcel Singapore.
• Prepare monthly closing, accruals, prepayments, bank reconciliations and supporting schedules.
• Ensure monthly accounts are completed accurately within the required timeline.
• Perform intercompany reconciliations between Singapore and Malaysia entities.
• Support the Malaysia Finance Team with accounting and closing activities when required.

4. Singapore GST & Financial Reconciliation

• Prepare Singapore GST returns and supporting documentation for timely submission.
• Perform monthly Cash-on-Delivery (COD) receivable and payable reconciliations with courier partners.
• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documents.

5. Finance Operations & Process Improvement

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting systems and digital tools.
• Follow internal finance procedures, approval workflows and reporting requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting efficiency through automation and digital solutions.
• Work closely with internal teams to resolve finance-related matters.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably handling full set of accounts, accounts payable and monthly closing.
• Familiar with accounting software such as QuickBooks Online or similar systems.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting reconciliation.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently, manage deadlines and take ownership of assigned responsibilities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable working in a digital and fast-paced environment.

Added Advantages

• Knowledge or experience in Singapore GST preparation.
• Experience in courier, logistics, e-commerce or related industries.
• Experience in multi-currency transactions (SGD/MYR).
• Familiarity with Lark Base, accounting automation or AI productivity tools.
