What they need
1. Accounting & Bookkeeping
- Record day-to-day transactions in the general ledger accurately and on time
- Process accounts payable: verify invoices, match to POs and delivery orders, schedule payments
- Manage accounts receivable: follow up on collections, maintain the debtor ageing
- Post accruals, prepayments, depreciation, and other month-end journals
2. Month-End Close & Reconciliations
- Prepare monthly bank, credit card, and payment-gateway reconciliations
- Reconcile marketplace and e-commerce payouts (e.g., Shopee, Lazada, Shopify) against sales
- Reconcile intercompany balances across group entities and resolve mismatches
- Maintain balance sheet schedules and supporting documents
3. Budgeting & Planning Support
- Help compile annual budgets and periodic reforecasts
- Track costs against budget and flag overspending early
4. Inventory & Costing
- Reconcile stock records with the GL and support stock counts
- Assist with landed cost calculations and COGS accuracy
- Assist in Tax & Statutory Compliance
