Finance Executive

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Finance Executive to join our dynamic team at PANDA SOFTWARE HOUSE SDN. BHD. in Melaka Tengah, Melaka. This full-time role is integral to the efficient operation of our finance team, and will play a crucial part in executing our comprehensive financial accounting and reporting responsibilities.

What You'll Be Doing

• Full-Set Accounting: Manage full set of accounts independently, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL) entries, and month-end closing.
• Financial Reporting & Closing: Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes while preparing accurate monthly management reports.
• Compliance & Audit Management: Maintain precise accounting records and collaborate with internal teams and external auditors to ensure strict compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Taxation & Year-End Audit: Finalize accounts for annual audit processes and oversee taxation matters.
• Strategic Support: Participate in ad-hoc finance projects and provide operational support across diverse financial initiatives.

What We're Looking For

• Education: Diploma or Degree/Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: 2–3 years of hands-on experience in a similar accounting/finance function.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; hands-on experience with AutoCount software and full-set accounts is highly advantageous.
• Key Attributes: High attention to detail, strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
