Finance Executive (Fixed-term for 8 month)

Role Summary

The Fixed-term Finance Executive is responsible in assisting Finance Business Partner in overseeing all accounting functions for the company for 8 months. You should handle AP function, AR billing and month end closing, prepare balance sheet reconciliation.

Key Accountabilities

• Handle payments, accounts payable, bank reconciliations and support for month-end closing
• Handle AR and billing
• Provide support on all aspects of the Finance Department when necessary, including any ad-hoc assignments

Qualifications & Experience

• Higher Diploma holder or above in Finance & Accounting or equivalent
• Proficient use of Excel to create and update reports.
• Experience of working within a similar role, preferable in Retail industry but not a must.
• Be a good team player, communicator and influencer.
• Passionate and self-driven individual.
• A data driven, proactive and creative approach to problem solving.
• Flexibility in adapting to fast-changing priorities and fast paced work environment.
• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to handle multi-task sand hit the ground running within a hand on role.
• You thrive on ownership and accountability – and have a proven track record of acting on your own initiative to deliver change.
