Finance Executive GL ( 3months contract)

Key Responsibilities

• Manage Fixed Asset Register (FAR) and Work-in-Progress (WIP), including asset postings, reclassification, depreciation and reconciliation.
• Prepare and process asset disposal/scrap forms and ensure proper approvals and documentation.
• Coordinate monthly closing activities and ensure all required reports and documents are submitted on time.
• Prepare Batch 1 and Batch 2 financial reports, including data compilation, checking and analysis.
• Prepare ECL, Specialty, NWD & A&E reports for monthly reporting.
• Prepare and analyse Profit & Loss (P&L) and Balance Sheet (BS) reports, including reviewing variances and financial movements.
• Perform bank reconciliation for CIMB Main, HSBC and CIMB Operations accounts.
• Manage e-Invoicing and SST-related activities, including documentation and compliance requirements.
• Perform monthly AIF reconciliation and follow up on discrepancies.
• Coordinate with internal departments, auditors and relevant stakeholders on accounting, reporting and tax matters.

Qualification

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Diploma in Accounting/Finance with relevant experience may also be considered.
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Good knowledge of P&L, Balance Sheet, bank reconciliation, fixed assets and month-end closing.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems.
• Good analytical, problem-solving and reporting skills.
• Able to work independently and meet monthly reporting deadlines.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
