Finance Executive

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Finance Executive to support the financial and accounting processes by ensuring accurate financial processing, compliance with internal controls, and timely financial reporting, and supporting process improvements.

The contract duration is up to 1 year.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Payable & Expense Management

• Review and verify vendor invoices to ensure compliance with company policies and approval requirements.
• Process vendor payments accurately and within established timelines.
• Review and validate employee expense claims, ensuring completeness of supporting documentation and proper approvals.
• Liaise with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve invoice and payment discrepancies.
• Support reconciliation of vendor accounts and outstanding balances.

Fixed Assets Management

• Maintain and reconcile the fixed asset register.
• Process fixed asset additions, transfers, capitalisation, depreciation, and disposals.
• Support lease accounting and related reporting requirements.
• Conduct periodic asset verification exercises and investigate discrepancies.
• Ensure fixed asset records are accurate and up to date.

Financial Closing & Reporting

• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare schedules and supporting documentation for internal and external audits.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports and management reporting requirements.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.

Process Improvement & Projects

• Participate in finance transformation, automation, and system enhancement initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to improve finance processes and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to resolve issues and support business objectives.

Requirements

• Degree in Accountancy or related fields
• 3 years of experience of relevant experience in Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, or Finance Operations
• Experience in ERP systems; familiarity with Workday will be an advantage
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools
• Strong communication, writing and presentation skills
• Meticulous and able to work independently as well as in a team in a fast-paced environment
