Finance Executive (Property Developer)

• Basic up to $5,500 + Mobile Allowances + Bonus + AWS

About the role

Senior Finance Executive responsible for accounts payable, account receivable, payments, general ledger, fixed assets, Capex and monthly closing activities for designated companies. This role involves preparing financial statements, management reports, budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis to provide accurate and timely financial reporting to management.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements, management reports, budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis
• Prepare reporting package for monthly financial reporting, annual budgeting and forecasting
• Prepare GST returns and review corporate tax computation for statutory filing
• Review XBRL and liaise with corporate secretary for annual filing
• Prepare reconciliation of bank statements, intercompany transactions, journal and supporting schedules monthly
• Liaise with external auditors and tax agent on all audit and tax related matters
• Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and financial performance indicators to assess financial health
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies
• Work closely with various stakeholders on operation matters and support financial reporting to HQ finance team
• Work with IT on system initiatives

Requirement

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field or Diploma in Accountancy
• 8 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or audit within real estate or related sectors
• Proficiency in financial reporting standards, budgeting, forecasting, FP&A, tax compliance, GST reporting
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, tax regulations, and GST reporting
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., Yardi, IFCA)
• Proficiency in V Look Up and Pivot Table
• Commitment to continuous improvement and willingness to adapt to changing business needs
• CA / CPA or equivalent professional certification is preferred
