Finance Head

Purpose of the Role

To support financial and operational performance by delivering accurate reporting, analysis, and administrative coordination. The role focuses on enhancing decision-making through data-driven insights, ensuring compliance with financial procedures, and supporting business unit efficiency.

Key Accountabilities

Financial Management & Reporting:

• Prepare monthly financial reports, variance analysis, and forecasts
• Assist with budgeting and annual financial planning
• Monitor expenditure against budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities
• Ensure accuracy in financial records and compliance with accounting standards

Data Analysis & Business Insights:

• Analyse SLA costs & data providing value added insights & trends to enable effective cost management
• Enhance data insights with automating reports & dashboards
• Manage the resolution of cost queries with various stakeholders
• Provide management reports for project related expenditure

SLA Billing

• Generate invoices to Countries for Costs channeled through BA Centre
• ICPs related to billing generated
• Generate data sets supporting the invoices

Compliance & Controls

• Ensure adherence to internal financial policies and procedures
• Support audit processes (internal and external)

Stakeholder Coordination

• Collaborate with internal & country stakeholders
• Support senior management with ad hoc financial analysis

Process Improvement

• Identify inefficiencies in workflows and recommend improvements
• Assist in implementing financial systems or automation tools.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Preferred candidate profile

• Professional qualification: Chartered Accountant
• Bachelors degree in finance, Accounting, or related field
• A minimum of 35 years finance experience
