Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Finance Head to lead our financial operations and drive the organization’s fiscal success. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, risk analysis, regulatory reporting, and strategic financial planning. Your leadership will ensure compliance with industry standards such as GAAP, IFRS, IAS, and ASC 606 while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. Duties

• Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies aligned with organizational goals to maximize profitability and sustainable growth.
• Oversee corporate accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial statement preparation, interpretation, and compliance with relevant standards such as GAAP, IFRS, and IAS.
• Lead risk management initiatives by conducting thorough risk analysis and establishing robust internal controls in accordance with COSO frameworks.
• Manage treasury functions including cash flow forecasting, banking relationships, and liquidity management to support operational needs.
• Drive revenue management efforts through market analysis, financial projection model development, and profit & loss optimization strategies.
• Supervise the preparation of regulatory reports and ensure adherence to industry-specific financial regulations.
• Oversee budgeting processes, expense control measures, cost management initiatives, and financial forecasting analysis to support strategic planning.
• Lead a high-performing finance team by providing mentorship, fostering collaboration, and promoting professional development in areas such as financial software systems and technical accounting practices.
• Engage in business development activities including fundraising for expansion projects or new ventures while negotiating favorable terms with stakeholders.
• Conduct comprehensive financial analysis to interpret financial statements, identify trends, and advise senior leadership on strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in finance leadership roles such as Finance Director or CFO within complex organizations or industries requiring extensive regulatory compliance knowledge.
• Strong expertise in corporate finance principles including revenue cycle management, profit & loss analysis, budgeting, and cost control.
• Extensive knowledge of accounting standards such as GAAP, IFRS, IAS, ASC 606 along with experience implementing SOX controls for compliance.
• Demonstrated ability in risk management practices including risk analysis frameworks and internal control assessments (COSO).
• Proficiency in financial modeling software and advanced Excel skills for developing financial projection models.
• Exceptional leadership skills with a track record of managing large teams effectively while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication skills for preparing detailed financial reports and interpreting complex data for diverse audiences.
• Strategic mindset with experience in mergers & acquisitions (M&A), business development initiatives, and industry market analysis.
• Strong negotiation skills complemented by a deep understanding of governmental accounting standards when applicable.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing regulatory environments while maintaining high standards of accuracy and integrity in all financial activities.
