Finance Head

The Finance Head will lead the full spectrum of finance, accounting, sales administration, and commercial functions for the Thailand business. This position ensures compliance with local GAAP/TFRS, IFRS, and statutory requirements, while driving financial performance, operational efficiency, and strategic decision support. The role partners closely with business leadership to align financial management with the company’s overall strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Leadership & Strategy

• Provide strategic financial direction and guidance to Thailand leadership, ensuring alignment with corporate and regional goals.
• Manage all financial operations, including accounting, reporting, budgeting, taxation and treasury functions.
• Develop financial strategies to optimize profitability, cash flow, and capital efficiency.
• Lead financial planning, forecasting, and analysis to support business decision-making.

Accounting, Reporting & Compliance

• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing and reporting in accordance with TFRS/IFRS.
• Ensure full compliance with statutory, tax, and secretarial regulations.
• Manage relationships with external auditors and lead completion of annual and quarterly audits & BPC Reporting of the financials
• Conduct and oversee transfer pricing documentation to ensure compliance with local and international regulations.

Operational Finance & Controls

• Implement robust financial controls and governance to protect company assets and ensure policy compliance.
• Evaluate and streamline financial processes, proposing improvements for efficiency and accuracy.
• Oversee sales administration, credit management, and customer claims resolution in coordination with commercial teams.
• Ensure working capital optimization, including inventory, receivables, and payables management.

Business Partnership

• Collaborate with department heads to monitor performance and support commercial and operational initiatives.
• Partner with supply chain, production, and commercial teams to optimize cost structures and margin improvement.
• Lead financial analysis of new initiatives, investments, and business opportunities.

People Leadership

• Build, lead, and develop a high-performing finance and commercial support team.
• Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and collaboration across the finance function.

Systems & Projects

• Drive financial system developments and digital transformation initiatives, including SAP HANA rollout and ANAPLAN tool
• Ensure data integrity, process consistency, and system-driven reporting throughout the organization.

Qualifications & Experience

• CPA qualified or equivalent, with 10+ years of progressive experience in finance, preferably in Manufacturing, FMCG, or Pharmaceutical industries.
• Proven leadership experience as a Finance Head, Country Finance Manager, or Controller in a multinational environment.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards (TFRS/IFRS), taxation, and regulatory compliance in Thailand.
• Advanced proficiency in ERP/SAP HANA and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships and lead cross-functional initiatives.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and team development skills.
• Fluent in English and Thai (both written and spoken) preferred.
